adult ministries
There’s a place for you to grow in faith, serve others, and build friendships at Level Creek UMC. One of the benefits of a mid-sized church is that there are enough people to do just about anything, but you don’t always get lost in the crowd. If you are looking for a place to belong and a church family who cares, you’ve come to the right place.
For more info about any of these groups, contact Rev. Elaine.
Bible Study
God wants us to grow in our faith and learn from the Holy Scriptures. We believe small group Bible Study is the best way to accomplish this. Small groups give us the chance to ask questions, learn from each other, and build relationships along the way.
-
Seekers Sunday School is a mixed-age group of men and women who are seeking to grow in faith using a discussion-based curriculum. They meet on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am in the Fireside Room of the O’Rouke Family Life Center.
-
Seasonal Bible Studies. Rev. Elaine leads a seasonal study in the Fall and the Spring. These studies are a great way to learn more about the Bible while also getting to know fellow church members.
-
Mom's Bible Study. Join Amy Hamilton and other moms of the church for informal conversation and Bible Study. This group meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Fireside Room.
Connect Lunch/Dinner Groups
We believe that building friendship is central to building Christian community and growing in our faith. Connect Dinner groups are made up of 6-8 people who meet together for dinner once a month. Some groups meet in restaurants and some groups meet in homes. New groups form in the Fall and Spring of each year. Childcare is provided for those who need it.
United Methodist Women and United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Women (UMW) and Men (UMM) focus on fellowship, mission and service. They lead projects that benefit our local church, our community, and the larger world. It’s a great way to get involved in service projects while also building friendships within the Level Creek UMC family.
Our UMW and UMM meet on the second Saturday of the month at 9:30 am in the O’Rouke Family Life Center. They begin with a potluck breakfast and then split into separate meeting groups. All are welcome!
